WEEF Parent Volunteer Needed. Staffed entirely by volunteers, the mission of the Woodford Educational Endowment Foundation is to ensure innovative, high-quality education is delivered to public school students throughout the Woodford County Schools system.  Annually since 1999, over 3,000 Woodford County Public School students have attended an array of fine arts performances, at no cost to the student, as part of the WEEF Performing Arts Program for the Woodford County Public Schools system.  Last year they were also able to offer mini-grants to teachers to support the daily instruction of students. Most importantly, they are a relentless advocate for public education and a vocal supporter of what Woodford County Schools does for the community.  We are looking for a parent willing to serve on the WEEF committee.  If you are interested, please contact Simmons Principal Tiffany Cook.

Next meeting: Sept. 12, 7:00pm, @ Southside Elementary library

Remaining meetings for the school year: Dec. 5, 2019, March 12, 2020, June 18, 2020
